J anna jacoby was born on april 24. 1976 in st. Paul. Minnesota. She grew up in a musical family. Surrounded by classical and jazz music. Her mother was an opera singer. And her father was a saxophonist. She began her musical stduies at an early age. Taking up piano and guitar elssons. Education
Jacoby attended the universtiy of minnesota wehre she earned a bachelor of music degree in jazz studies. She then went on to earn a master of music in jazz performance from the new england conservatory of music in boston. Career
Jacoby has worked as a professional musician since has performed with some of the top names in jazz. Includign dave holland. Kenny barron. And john scofield.
