Rosalyn’s first novel Catching Shellfish Between the Tides (Sceptre) was published in 1998. A winner of prizes before it was published, it won the 1995 Armagh Writers’ International Short Story Award and the 1996 Waterstones and Terrence Higgins Trust Short Story Competition, published in It Must Be Love(Penguin Books, 1997).
Helen Dunmore called it: ‘an assured, graceful debut.’

Rosalyn was one of the original Lit Chicks published in Girls’ Night In (HarperCollins/War Child) alongside Marian Keyes, Fiona Walker and Chris Manby.
Rosalyn’s second novel,colourbook(Sceptre) was published in 1999.
